The first monthly report for the Robots Club has been posted to the members area. If you are a member, you can access it from the members menu; it is at the far right entitled Robots Club Monthly Reports. If you’re not a member, you can take a look at the offer to join the club here:
For the time being, I am continuing the trial period for the Robots Club, although I have had to move to a scheme where you pay one dollar for the first month, $30 per month after that. The reason for this is to ensure that your financial details – credit card/PayPal etc. – are set up correctly in the system so that there are no problems down the track.
The second change I am considering is moving to a system where I release ONE FREE ROBOT EVERY MONTH, or second month, rather than the three months at present. This is because the robots under test are proving to be quite promising at the moment, and so I may have more options to release free robots at a greater frequency. The benefit of this of course, is that you can build a portfolio of successful, proven automated trading systems (forex robots) many times faster.
If I do move to this scenario, I will be putting the price of membership up substantially, to at least $50 per month. Current members of the Robots Club will remain on their present scheme for as long as they remain members. So, for those who are not yet members of the club, something to consider: if you get in now you can lock in the lower rate for ever.
The reason I’ve been able to consider this move is that I’ve almost been embarrassed by the number of well performing strategies under test. It is heartening to see them do so well, particularly in light of some rather savage moves in the market recently. But that is the thing about thoroughly backtesting and forward testing robots. In particular, Robustness Testing – which attempts to portray robot performance under a variety of future conditions – really helps build reliability and resilience into the robots.
So for those of you who are not yet members, please consider it. I really do believe that having a combination of manual testing, combined with a portfolio of reliable robots, is the best way to go in forex trading.
